New Delhi, Feb 7, 2012 : In news which came as a big relief to Pune fans, The Sahara Group has decided that players should not be punished for the ongoing tussle between BCCI and Sahara and thus they will play in the Indian Premier League 2012 edition.

Sahara chairman Subrato Roy also commented on pulling out of auctions at the last minute and said, “It wasn’t an impulsive move, decision on withdrawal was taken in Jan, not overnight.”

“Pune Team will stay. Can’t comment on reconciliation with an open mind,” he added.

This news will not only bring smile on common cricket fans face but also on faces of Pune Warriors whose fate seemed to be hanged in balance after Sahara’s initial decision to pull out of IPL 5.
