Indian Premier League is popularly called IPL and was an innovation inspired by Indian Cricket League. Board of Cricket Control in India ( BCCI) started this million dollar project in 2008 under the leadership of Mr Lalit Modi. From the day the first edition of IPL started, it has been a hit with millions of viewers all over the world. Brand Finance, has estimated that IPL brand has a value of US$4.11 billion in 2010 and this is expected to increase further in coming years.
